love in Kawane, Shizuoka／静岡・川根町のラブ

I went to Shizuoka to film green tea farm, away from Tokyo about 2.5 hrs by car.

東京から来るまでおよそ2時間半。仕事で静岡県川根町へ。

 Radioactivity was not much a concern here, 
the count is low as normal,people were feeling safe here.

原発のことは、殆ど語られていなかった。みんな安心して暮らしていた。

Flowers were feeling safe here also, blooming.

花たちも安心して暮らしていた。

あちこちで咲き誇る

 alluring me.

花が美しかった。

Then a women came out from the house saying,
this was the sweetheart she saved from being stepped over by humans. 

そして可愛いおばちゃんが家から出て来た。

「このこ人間に踏まれちゃってたから勝手に持って帰って来ちゃったの。可愛いでしょ？」

Pretty leaves.

本当にかわいかった。

saved by pretty love. 

やさしい愛情に助けられた可愛いコ。

 

 

Pretty flowers. 

そして綺麗なお花たち。

 It's her love, then I noticed, that'd been alluring me.

そして見惚れていたのは彼女の愛だったのか、と気付いた。

didn't want to go back to Tokyo.

東京に戻りたくなかった。

but I knew I had to leave.

でも帰らなければ。

 bye bye Kawane. c u again.

川根町さん、ありがとう。またね。

before the earthquake in Macon/メイコン映画祭

it was before the earthquake.

As I remember, it was the 16th of February, two months ago.

地震の前でした。 間違っていなければ２月１６日、ちょうど二ヶ月前。

I was trying to figure out how to use my new camera.

新しいカメラの使い方を模索しながら

I reached Macon at night. 

メイコンにたどり着いたのは夜。

had a waffle at WAFFLE HOUSE, and stayed at Best Western.

「ワッフルハウス」という名のチェーン店でワッフルを食べホテルで一眠り。

pretty sun dawn in Macon, and I stepped outside, 

メイコンの夜明けは美しく、外へ一歩出てみた。

 the atmosphere there was somewhat different from every other place.

雰囲気が他の街となんだか少し違う。

 It was Macon. no other word to describe.

ここはメイコンだ、としか良いようが無い街。

Pink ruin and people. Black and White.

ピンクの廃墟と黒人と白人。

 A barbar, red and blue.

そして赤と青の床屋さん。

 Girls were cute and adorable.

街行く女の子たちは可愛くて、愛らしかった。
彼女らのステキなフレンドリーさにやられ、ピントが少しずれてしまった。ごめん。

Then, back to Japan. 

Listening to Miles Davis, swinging with the aftershocks of earthquake.

そして、日本に戻りマイルス・デイビスと共に余震とスウィング。

 Time passed. I am 2 months older now. 

そして、時間は過ぎた。2ヶ月、歳をとった。

Macon is 2 months older now, probably in a way Macon usually does.

おそらくメイコンも、メイコンらしいやりかたで、２ヶ月歳をとったんだろうね。

桜は散り始めていたけど

but people were gathering together

人々は集まった。

listen to the nature

A lot of us feel bad.

私たちの多くは現状を残念に思っている。 

A lot of us were discouraged to find out that the government was cheating on us.

私たちの多くは政府の嘘に辟易していた。 

you've been lying

They said nuke was safe, but it still doesn't seem to be.

原発は安全だって言っていたのにね。 

 They said the radioactivity will not come out.

放射性物質は飛ぶこと無いだろうだなんてさ。 

then, there was an election for the mayor of Tokyo.

そして東京都知事選もあった今日。

The guy elected was a brother of famous actor. 

And yes, he promotes nuclear power.

当選したのは有名な俳優のお兄さん。彼は原発推進派。

Now he's eager to have olympics to come here in Tokyo.

He had a different target in mind.

彼は東京にオリンピックを招聘させることに夢中。

私たちの多くとは違うターゲットを狙っていたのね。
